PBLA Module

Being on time is an important part of everyday life in Canada. This module focuses on understanding expectations around being late, using simple language to apologize and give reasons, and practicing digital communication skills through a chat simulator.

Story

Running Late! — Jehad is late for class after missing his train. He sends a message to his classmate and apologizes when he arrives. The story helps learners use simple language to explain being late and communicate politely.

Digital Activity

This activity helps learners practise common phrases for speaking when they are late and use polite language to apologize and explain their situation. It includes a practice section and a short quiz to support learning, build confidence, and check understanding.
