The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) is a not-for-profit organization offering Language, Employment and Settlement services to newcomers and Canadians.

Our Literacy programming was launched in 2005 in response to a growing need for basic language skills, to prepare beginners with the foundations needed to continue learning English.

In our experience, Literacy is key to students’ success. This website is designed to support Literacy instructors and the important work they do.
